Embrace Your Dream Life by Reciting Powerful Positive Affirmations Today

A positive affirmation is a statement that affirms and encourages a positive mindset.

By repeating positive affirmations, we can train our brain to think more positively about ourselves and our abilities. This can lead to increased confidence, motivation, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Additionally, research has shown that positive affirmations can reduce stress levels and improve mental and physical health. For these reasons, positive affirmations are an important tool for anyone looking to improve their well-being.

How do positive affirmations work on the subconscious mind?

The power of positive affirmations has been well-documented, but how do they work? When we repeat positive statements, we are essentially programming our subconscious mind to believe them.

Over time, this new way of thinking begins to shape our reality. Our subconscious mind is responsible for guiding our behavior, so by changing the way it thinks, we can change our behavior as well.

For example, if we repeat the affirmation “I am confident” enough times, eventually our subconscious mind will begin to guide us towards actions that reflect that belief.

In this way, positive affirmations can help us to overcome negative thought patterns and achieve our goals. Repeated often enough, positive affirmations can help to program the subconscious mind and lead to lasting changes in our behavior.

Our brain regularly goes through pruning where it either broadens or essentially cuts off certain neural pathways. If you are feeding a specific thought, the pathway will grow. Think of a highway extending its lanes.

Through the process of rewiring (sometimes painful but worth it,) you can actually train your brain to cut off those stale toxic thoughts you may have been raised with that are no longer serving you and your highest self.

The right way to recite positive affirmations

If you read our Introduction to the Law of Attraction blog, you know that there's a right and wrong way to phrase your deepest desires, wants, and beliefs.

This is where people end up getting it wrong!

If you want to make more money, for example, your thoughts, actions, and phrasing must focus on abundance and not lack.

Let's break that down.

If you are in desperate need of money and are operating from a state of lack, you may think (consciously or not)

  • "I need more money."

  • "Money is difficult."

  • "I have to work so hard for my money."

  • "I hate my job but I have to work."

  • "I wish I could get out of debt."

  • "I don't know how I'm going to pay all these bills."

When you read them now, does it make you feel good? No! But the underlying sentiment is obvious that you want more.

Let's do a little tweaking while still getting our point across.

  • "Abundance flows to me in expected and unexpected ways."

  • "Money is a neutral tool and I use it for good."

  • "Making money is easy and enjoyable for me."

  • "There is more than enough money in circulation for everyone to thrive."

  • "I love making a positive difference in the world through my job/business and I am paid fairly."

  • "I can buy anything I want because money sticks to me like glue." (Imagine hundred-dollar bills sticking to you!)

I have a strong feeling you feel a big difference.

You are expressing the same things you want but there is an important differentiation.

You are focused on abundance, not lack.

You are focusing on what you do have (or want) because gratitude is a major component in creating your dream life.

The Universe can't "hear" words like not, don't, etc. It hears the word and understands the vibration or frequency of the word.

So choose the word to reflect what you want wisely.

You are expressing gratitude for something you want but don't have yet. That's the tricky part we call "resistance."

Managing resistance through our manifestations

It's natural to feel resistance when we are called to stretch beyond our comfort zones, but this resistance can quickly become a roadblock on the path to manifestation.

When we are resistant to change, it means that we are out of alignment with our highest selves.

In order to overcome this resistance and get back on track, it's important to first identify the root cause of the problem.

Once we know what is blocking us, we can begin to let go of the old patterns and beliefs that are no longer serving us.

This can be a difficult process, but it is essential if we want to create lasting change in our lives. By releasing the past and embracing the present, we open ourselves up to limitless possibilities.

When we are willing to let go of what is no longer working for us, anything becomes possible. So if you find yourself feeling stuck or blocked in your manifestation journey, remember that you have the power to choose change.

Choose to let go of the past and move forward into a new paradigm of abundance, joy, and possibility.

Then you can become clear on what you really want, and recite positive affirmations specific to you and your deepest wants, needs, and desires.

Need some inspiration? Start by reciting these affirmations out loud (and with great passion and a big smile). Then we'll teach you how to write your own affirmations specific to you.

How to write your own affirmation statements

Creating your own affirmation statements is a powerful way to manifest the life you want. With a little thought and creativity, you can craft affirmations that are tailored specifically to your needs and goals. Here are some tips to get you started:

1. Be specific: The more specific your affirmations are, the more impact they will have. For example, rather than affirming that you will be successful, specify what kind of success you want to achieve.

2. Make them positive: (duh) Affirmations should always be stated in the positive. For example, rather than affirming that you will not fail, state that you will succeed.

3. Keep them realistic: While it is important to set your sights high, make sure that your affirmations are still realistic. Baby steps are what get you to the end goal. Otherwise, you may end up feeling disappointed and discouraged.

4. Write them down: When you write down your affirmations, they become even more powerful. So be sure to write them down in a place where you will see them often. Hand write them, add them to your notes, type them. Do it all!

5. Repeat them regularly: Repeating your affirmations on a daily basis is essential for achieving results. So make sure to incorporate them into your daily routine. Add a printout to your bathroom mirror-potentially one of the first places you look upon waking. Some add blank checks to their bedroom wall or ceiling made out to them for whatever amount of money they can dream up.

Bonus: Use the present tense always. Avoid saying things like, "We're gonna be rich!" Even if you're not there yet, change the sentiment to, "We are so rich!" The caveat is you must believe it.

You can try faking, but it just won't work to the Universe. You can't fake your energy and true underlying feelings. Believe me, I've tried!

You can do this!

What are the health benefits of regularly practicing positive affirmations?

While it may seem hokey to some, regularly practicing positive affirmations can have a number of benefits for mental and emotional health.

For one thing, it can help to reframe negative self-talk in a more positive light.

In addition, repeating affirmations can help to build self-confidence and self-esteem.

Studies have also shown that positive affirmations can reduce stress and anxiety levels.

And finally, practicing positive affirmations can help to increase overall happiness and well-being.

So if you’re looking for a way to boost your mood and your mental health, try repeating some positive affirmations on a regular basis.

Should you recite positive affirmations every day?

It's no secret that positive thinking can lead to greater happiness and success in life. Reciting positive affirmations is one way to cultivate a more positive outlook.

By repeating positive statements about oneself, such as "I am deserving of love and respect," "I am worthy of success," or "I am capable of achieving my goals," one can help to break down negative thought patterns and boost self-confidence.

Additionally, research has shown that daily affirmations can improve mood, increase motivation, and reduce stress levels.

Whether you're facing a difficult challenge or simply wanting to feel happier and more fulfilled, reciting positive affirmations each day can be a powerful tool for creating lasting change.

So yes, recite them every day! Our favorite way to use them is by listening to Positive Affirmation videos on Youtube immediately upon waking to prime the mind for a happy day.

Can positive affirmations help you sleep?

Getting a good night's sleep is essential for both physical and mental health. Yet, for many people, falling asleep can be a challenge.

When it comes to sleep, affirmations can help to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.

For example, you might say to yourself, "I am calm and relaxed" or "I am releasing all of my worries."

By repeating these phrases before bed, you can help to quiet your mind and ease your body into sleep. While affirmations alone may not be enough to cure insomnia, they can be a helpful tool for promoting better sleep.

Do positive affirmations cure anxiety and/or depression?

It's no secret that mental health is a topic of increasing concern in today's society. Rates of anxiety and depression are on the rise, and more and more people are seeking out treatment.

While medication and therapy are often effective, there is another potential tool that is often overlooked: positive affirmations.

Also known as self-talk, positive affirmations are simply statements that you repeat to yourself in order to change your mindset.

For example, if you're struggling with anxiety, you might tell yourself "I am calm and collected" or "I can handle this."

While it may sound simplistic, research suggests that positive affirmations can be an effective way to reduce stress and improve mood.

One study found that participants who repeated positive affirmations showed reduced levels of stress hormones, while another found that participants who used self-talk experienced less social anxiety and negative thinking.

So if you're looking for a way to boost your mental health, try incorporating some positive affirmations into your daily routine.

Who knows - they just might help you feel calmer, happier, and more confident.

Are positive affirmations and mantras the same thing?

No, they are not. Both may have similar purposes, but they have different effects.

A positive affirmation is a statement you say to yourself that affirms your self-worth or ability. It is designed to counter negative thoughts and give you a boost of confidence.

A mantra is a word or phrase that is repeated over and over again. The purpose of a mantra is to focus the mind and help you achieve a certain state of consciousness.

While mantras can be positive, they don't necessarily have to be.

For example, some people use mantras to help them get through difficult situations, such as sickness, loss, or heartbreak.

In these cases, the mantra may not be positive, but it can still be helpful in clearing the mind and achieving a more positive state of being.
